On Monday FIVB released the men’s Nations League quarterfinal bracket. From July 29 to August 2, Ningbo hosts eight teams. The pairings are set — and they look tougher than the prelims.
Quarterfinal schedule
July 29: Slovenia–Turkey (15:00) and Japan–China (19:30 local). July 30: Italy–USA and Poland–Ukraine, also at 15:00 and 19:30. Winners of Japan/China and Italy/USA land in the same semifinal half.
What to watch
Poland are defending champions and favourites against Finals debutant Ukraine. Italy and the USA rematch the Paris 2024 Olympic bronze game. Japan led the prelims; China play at home. Turkey’s first VNL Finals appearance is already historic, whatever the result.
