The Olympic season is over; the skating calendar already looks to fall. The ISU released 2026/27 Grand Prix assignments in June, and by July 21 coaching staffs are training with a fixed map: six weeks, six events, Series Final in December.
Men's field to watch
Ilia Malinin (USA) and Olympic champion Mikhail Shaidorov (KAZ) sit at the center. Adam Siao Him Fa, Kao Miura and Shun Sato round out the headline group. The series opens with Grand Prix de France in Angers (Oct 23–25), then Skate Canada in Kelowna, Cup of China in Shenzhen, Skate America in Everett, Finlandia Trophy and NHK Trophy in Tokyo.
Pairs, dance and a changing of the guard
Pairs feature world champions Minerva Hase / Nikita Volodin and Olympic medalists Metelkina / Berulava. Dance is led by Olympic and world champions Laurence Fournier Beaudry / Guillaume Cizeron. The market is also absorbing late-June news: Loena Hendrickx has retired — another post-Olympic cycle marker.
