The ISU has confirmed it: the 2026/27 Grand Prix Final will be held in Chongqing on Dec 10–13. Together with Cup of China’s debut in Shenzhen, China becomes a two-stop season hub alongside Europe, Canada, the USA, Finland and Japan.
A calendar that already pressures staffs
The series opens Oct 23–25 in Angers, then Kelowna, Shenzhen, Everett, Helsinki and Tokyo. Six straight weeks means programs must be ready earlier than many teams prefer after an Olympic year.
Who to watch for the Final
In men, Malinin and Shaidorov sit at the centre. In dance, Olympic champions Fournier Beaudry / Cizeron lead the field. For fans, July is the moment to lock a home event: tickets and broadcast plans for Chongqing are already on federation agendas.
