The season is still on paper for programs, but the calendar is already hard. The 2027 European Championships will be held in Lausanne from Jan 25–31 — the first big continental window after the Olympic cycle.
How the road looks
October–November: six Grand Prix stops. December: the Final in Chongqing. January: Lausanne. March: Worlds in Tampere. April: World Team Trophy in Tokyo. For coaching staffs that means peaking in waves, not one Olympic summit.
What fans should do in July
This is the month for test skates and assignment tracking. Malinin, Shaidorov, Hase/Volodin and Fournier Beaudry/Cizeron are already inked into the autumn grid. Lausanne will be the first real answer to who survived the cycle change.
