Seattle hosts the second Lynx–Storm meeting of the week tonight — and possibly Napheesa Collier’s season debut. The two-time MVP runner-up and 2024 Defensive Player of the Year has been recovering from surgeries on both ankles.
Miles already made history
On Monday Minnesota won 105-102. Olivia Miles, the No. 2 pick, posted 32 points, eight rebounds and eight assists — the fifth such line in WNBA history and the second by a rookie after Candace Parker. For the Lynx (21-6) it is fuel into the All-Star break.
Where the Storm stand
Seattle (6-22) are on a five-game skid, but the young core — Malonga, Fam, Johnson — keeps logging minutes. Johnson scored 26 on Monday. If Collier plays, the rematch stops being a weekly rerun and becomes a test of Seattle’s defense against a full conference leader.
